想不到默默弘揚禪法，已經受到西方人士的注意與肯定
國際禪佛學院（International Ch'an Buddhism Institute，簡稱ICBI）
今年的七月四日，剛成立於英國倫敦，以虛雲老和尚為根本導師
昨天忽然發給我三封email
告知：我個人已經被加入他們的個人會員，大寂靜學會也被加入他們的學會會員，還頒布證書為證明，圖片即是兩張證書
這簡直是迅雷不及掩耳的速度，讓我對這個資訊措手不及
我一直希望把漢傳禪法弘揚給西方人學習，想不到在仍未主動到西方傳法的情況下，居然被動地成功了
因為，ICBI這個學會的宗旨，正是以發揚中國的禪法為主要方向
所以他們在找到我的情況下，二話不說，立刻把我加為會員了，並且還公布在他們的網站，太神奇了
這個網址，公布了大寂法師成為個人會員的簡介，在頁面最下方，http://icbi.weebly.com/individual-members-2.html

希望這次的因緣與進展，能與國際接軌，未來真正有機會把中國禪法推廣到歐美社會
下面，我就把我收到的三封英文email，按照收到的時間順序，公諸於世：（當大家看英文信時，我不得不讚嘆他們能精準掌握我的履歷及大寂靜學會的任務，看來他們的中文是不賴的）

Ch’an Master Da Ji (大寂法師)
Activities: Master Da Ji is a Taiwanese born Buddhist monk specialising in the Ch’an tradition. He is originally from Tainan, but now lives in Taipei. Since 2009, Master Da Ji has been the Director of the ‘Great Calm Institute’ (大寂靜學會) of Taiwan, and spends part of his time travelling the world teaching Ch’an Buddhism.

How would you like the 'Great calm Society' to be described? I thought something like this:
'The Great Calm Society (大寂靜學會) is based in Taiwan. It specialises in the teaching of Ch'an meditation to bring peace and calm to the individual and to society and its current Director is Ch'an Master Da Ji of Taipei.'
I shall add a photograph of you and email you the Membership certificates.

My name is Adrian Chan-Wyles, and I am an Anglo-Chinese person living in London, UK. I was an ordained Ch'an monk from 1989-1992 (in the UK and Hong Kong) and my ordination name is 'Shi Da Dao' (釋大道). My grand master is Xu Yun (1840-1959). I co-founded and help run the following Buddhist associations in the UK:
