一位菲律賓馬尼拉的弟子詢問有關僧服顏色的問題：
Amitofo, Shifu. I hope you won't mind me asking: I've been attending Zen since 2008 & have been to Taiwan 9 times: 4 Bodhi tours & 5 Chan retreat, the most recent was july & will attend again in january, 2014. I notice Shifu that you are wearing a yellow robe in most of your pictures and a few pictures in brown...how does it differ from thr brown & at times black robes worn by other shifus? Amitofo!

All robes among different colors are equal. Different tradition, branch or school makes monks wear different color robes.
